Walk off the Earth is a Canadian indie band formed in Bur
lington, Ontario. Founded in 2006, the video of their cover of Gotye’s Somebody That I Used To Know became rapidly popular on Youtube, and received positive responses from both Gotye and his co-singer on the song, Kimbra. The video was performed by five musicians on a single guitar. They claimed they all used the same guitar because they only had one guitar at the time.On Saturday, January 7, 2012, actor Russell Crowe tweeted the band after seeing the video and pitched his catalogue to them. The band has proven in a couple days how inspiring they could be for other musicians. The belgian band Nasty Panda made a parody of their video only 4 days after theirs. ~ Wikipedia

Our Good Friends The Matt York Band Team Up With The LCBO
Long time clients and good friends, The Matt York Band were fortunate enough to team up with the LCBO for their fall Whisky Soul campaign. In addition to the radio spots and interviews they were asked to write a song for the Whisky Soul Song Competition where bands could win loads of cool stuff like recording time, photoshoots and more. The song, “Don’t Lose Your Soul” was written by the band and recorded here at B-Town. We had a blast working on it and are looking forward to working with the boys again soon.
